The Redskins made the journey up to the "Supreme Court" at Ottawa-Glandorf for their final regular season contest of 2020-21.

Wapakoneta stayed with the Titans for the first half and the first part of the third quarter. The Titans then built a lead and extended it to double digits in the fourth.

The Redskins finished at 3-5 in the Western Buckeye League and 12-9 overall. They alternated wins and losses in their last six games.

"We battled tonight," said Wapakoneta coach Trey Elchert afterward. "The past 10, 15, 20 years (O-G) has been the gold standard. Give credit to them, they kind of wore us out."

Elchert praised the job done by senior Garrett Siefring in containing Brennan Blevins and holding him scoreless in the first three periods.

As for the Redskins, Noah Ambos had 15 points. Grant Bauer had another good effort with eight.

Wapakoneta faces Celina in the Division II sectionals on Tuesday.
