Behind the arc and at the stripe.

That's where Wapakoneta found success on Friday night — and plenty of it — as the Redskins topped Elida 55-35 in Western Buckeye League boys basketball action.

Wapakoneta (2-2 WBL, 9-4) hit on 11 three-pointers (and nearly had a 12th). Noah Ambos and Zach Rogers made four each, while three other players also dialed long distance.

The other highlight came at the free throw line. Wapakoneta took 14 attempts and made every single one. Kaden Siefring was the individual leader with eight.

Overall, Rogers had 14 points, Ambos had 12 and John Buchanan scored nine.
