The girls' Redskin golf team competed in the WBL Girls Golf Invite Friday.
Wapakoneta finished second in the invite with a best four score of 409. Jackie Oen led the Redskins shooting an 84 on the day, she placed third overall.
Paityn Bowman finished with 100, Natalie Hefner had 101 and Allie McKivison had a score of 125 topping off the Redskins top four scores.
Mylie Moser shot a 127 and Lauren Miller finished the day with 134.
The Redskins will be back in action Monday at Coldwater.
Boys golf
Wapakoneta traveled to Celina to take on the Bulldogs in WBL play.
The Redskins won 188-203. Austin West and Zac Niekamp each had 42 leading the way for the Wapakoneta golf team.
Eli VanMeter (51) and Peyton Young (53) rounded out the top four Redskin golfers for the team score. Kyle Rex (55) and Ian Fosnaugh (65) also took part for Wapakoneta but missed the team cut.
Wapakoneta will look to Monday as they are set to host Coldwater.
