Wapakoneta, W-G compete at Kalida cross country invite

The Wapakoneta and Waynesfield-Goshen cross country squads traveled to Kalida on Saturday to participate in the Wildcat Invitational.
Taylor Spencer of Waynesfield-Goshen took first place in the girls' varsity race, with a time of 19 minutes, 26 seconds.
Wapakoneta finished in fifth place, and W-G was 10th. Fourteen teams had scores, with several other individual runners taking part.
Van Buren finished in first with 88 points, followed by Napoleon (95) and St. Marys (101).

In the boys' varsity race, Wapakoneta finished 10th and Waynesfield-Goshen was 16th in the field of 20.
