Superintendent candidate list up to 21 names

With Monday's deadline now passed, the Wapakoneta City School District is no longer accepting applications for the superintendent position.

Superintendent Keith Horner was hired to fill the same position at Apollo Career Center in Lima in March, triggering the search.

Since the last update on April 14, an additional 13 candidates have filed their applications with the district offices, including two local educators, one former administrator and a graduate of the district.

• Scott Minnig, Wapakoneta. Minnig is the current principal at Wapakoneta High School and has held that position since 2013. He previously served as an Assistant Principal and teacher in the district, and holds degrees from Bluffton University and the University of Dayton.

• Will Snyder, Wapakoneta. Snyder has been the principal of Wapakoneta Middle School since taking over in 2015, after serving as an assistant principal at the High School. He is a...
