Rotary to host Supreme Court justice

Ohio Supreme Court Justice Sharon Lee Kennedy will be the guest speaker at Monday’s Wapakoneta Rotary Club meeting, and club President Josh Little is inviting any interested community member to attend.

“We’re privileged to be hosting Justice Kennedy Monday and we welcome any and all who’d like to be on hand for her presentation,” Little said.

Kenndy is a jurist from Hamilton who was elected to the Supreme Court of Ohio on November 6, 2012.

She graduated from Northwest High School in 1980, and from the University of Cincinnati School of Social Work with a bachelor's degree in 1984 and the University of Cincinnati College of Law, (Juris Doctor), in 1991.

Kennedy was a police officer with the Hamilton Police Department from 1985 to 1989. She worked as a law clerk for Judge Matthew J. Crehan and director of the victim/witness division for the Butler County Court of Common Pleas from 1989 to 1991.
