McGowan touts his problem solving, biz skills

Pat McGowan cites his 40-plus years of business experience as just one reason he should be the next Auglaize County commissioner.

He spent the majority of those years solving problems, maybe not totally on his own, but with a team of people dedicated to answering the questions posed by the issue in front of them.

“For a small town boy from central Ohio that’s been pretty interesting,” McGowan said.

McGowan, the current mayor of St. Marys, is facing Doug Spencer in the May 8 Republican primary for the commissioner’s seat. Spencer is the incumbent; as there is no Democratic opponent on the ballot in November the winner of the May race will be the next commissioner. He was the guest speaker at the Wapakoneta Rotary Club’s Monday meeting.
