Lady Redskins volleyball gets win over Van Wert

A slow start turned into a strong finish.
Wapakoneta powered its way to a 3-1 win over visiting Van Wert in Western Buckeye League play on Thursday night.
The Lady Redskins trailed in the opening game, but rallied to win 25-18. After Van Wert took the second game 25-19, Wapakoneta controlled things in games three and four, winning 25-17 and 25-14.
Wapakoneta improves to 5-2 overall on the year, and 1-1 in league play.
Coach Kim Selvey said, "Volleyball is such a game of momentum. You have to start strong, stay strong, and finish strong."
