Community newspaper group looking for experienced press operator. Must be at least 21 years old We are seeking a full – time employee to work in our press room. We have openings in Borger, Texas and in Wapakoneta, Ohio The primary function of this position is to operate printing equipment and stand for long periods at a time. Basic math counting skills, forklift driving is a plus. This position ensures that all products printed by pre-set deadlines and established quality standards for press reproduction and distribution. In addition, this position ensures: • Other duties include maintaining and servicing all equipment and end of shift paperwork, also to include the ability to perform other work-related duties as assigned. • Proficient in use of hand tools and a mechanical aptitude. • Detail oriented and committed to count accuracy. • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills for corresponding with multiple departments. • Has the ability to work efficiently, under minimal supervision and within groups. • Can think creatively and problem solve as a group when the occasion arises and meet pre-set deadlines. • Is skilled in managing time wisely, must be able to multi-task. • Can work flexible hours-nights, weekends, split-shifts, and long shifts. • Standing and bending over long periods of time. • Be able to lift objects of at least 75 lbs, push or pull rolls of newspaper Competitive wage and comprehensive benefits packaging; health, dental, vision, 401K, paid holidays, vacation.
