Zita Vogl Earl, 84, of Waynesfield, died at 7:21 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Zita was born May 18, 1929, in Routhenbach, Germany, to Babette (Buettner) and Ludwig Vogl. On July 17, 1948, in Nurnberg, Germany, she married Faris “Fuzzy” Earl, and he preceeded her in death on Feb. 12, 2013.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Earl, of Waynesfield, Elaine (Ted) Bear, of Elida, and Nancy (Ron) Wildermuth, of Ada; a sister, Erika Vogl, of Freiburg, Germany; five grandchildren Jeff Bear, of Elida, Aaron (Jessica) Bear, of Elida, Sarah (Will) Eberhardt, of London, Stephanie (Greg) Kah, of Ada, and Matthew (Janell) Stump, of Waynesfield; and seven great-grandchildren, Ian Bear, Russell Eberhardt, Alyssa Kuk, Brendan Kah, Brook Kah, Garrett Stump and Lexie Stump.
Zita was of the Baptist faith, and had worked for Textron (Excello Corporation). She graduated from high school in Germany.
