Laura A. Clymer, 92, of Lima, formerly of Colorado, died at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 18, 1919 in Arcadia, the daughter of the late Ethel (Kring) and Frank Ebersole. On Sept. 19, 1946, she married Norman L. Clymer, who died June 8, 2000.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Louis (Kay) Clymer, of Centennial, Colo., and Steven D. Clymer, of Lima; a daughter, Sue Clymer Frye, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a former daughter-in-law, Linda Clymer, of Lima; six grandchildren, John Lyons, of Key West, Fla., Aaron Lyons, of Spokane, Wash., Christina A. Clymer Mosley, of Greenville, Ala., Dr. Dan Clymer, of Philadelphia, Pa., Sara Scott, of Lima, and Amanda Clymer, of Lima; and nine great-grandchildren, Erica Andrew, Chelsey Lyons, Myranda Mahoney, Roar’n Lyons, Nathan Mosley, Colin Mosley, Ava Mosley, Katlin Mosley, and Savannah Ramage.
She was preceded in death by a son, William “Bill” Ross Clymer, who died in 1990; and a foster sister, Ruth Williams.
Mrs. Clymer was a retired school teacher with Mount Cory, Alger/McGuffey, Buckland, Spencerville, and Wapakoneta. She was a 1937 graduate of Arcadia High School where she was Salutatorian and a 1941 graduate of Bowling Green State University.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Community Church in Aurora, Colo.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Fairmount Cemetery and Mortuary in Denver, Colo.
