Chris L. Ewing, 55, of Stuart, Fla., formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at his residence after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born Aug. 12, 1957, the son of the late Sylvia and Robert Ewing. On Feb. 26, 1994, he married Gianna Werner, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Christopher Ewing; a daughter, Selena Ewing; six sisters, Christine Turkelson, Coleen Bowersock, Carol Hickman, Charlotte Preville, Cindy Stechschulte, and Connie Kantner; and a brother, Cliff Ewing.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Ewing.
He was a 1974 graduate of St. Joseph School. He also attended Wright State University. He was employed as a quality control manager. He was a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed cooking, carpentry, war movies, and watching the Miami Dolphins with his family.
