Byron Lloyd Parlette, 75, of Longview, Wash., passed away Nov. 23, 2011, at his home.
He was born Nov. 12, 1936, in Uniopolis, the son of the late Opal (Spees) and Lee Parlette. In 1960, he married Glenna Adkins, who passed away in 1975.
Surviving are two daughters, Peggy Bell, of Corinth, Maine, and Barbara (Carl) Diebler, of Bucyrus; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.; two sisters, Judy (James) Stingel, and Joan (Dean) Bussart; and two brothers, Gordon L. (Virginia) Parlette, and Jack (Mary) Parlette.
He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Donna Lee and Don Colvin; a nephew, Bruce Colvin; and a son-in-law, Patric Bell.
He was a 1954 graduate of Blume High School, and a 1958 graduate of Bluffton College. He earned a master’s degree from Western Washington University. He was a retired mathematics teacher, having taught his entire career at Colonel Crawford High School.
Services are at 2 p.m. July 29 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Robinson.
