Rogene C. Lehman, 81, of Plumwood, died at 11:55 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, in Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
He was born June 26, 1930, in Auglaize County, the son of Lura (Clay) and Stanley Lehman, who preceded him in death. He married Dorthy Purdum, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Bryce Richard Lehman, of Columbus; a brother, Jerry (Sue) Lehman, of Wapakoneta; two nephews, Jay (Cindy) Lehman, of Wapakoneta, and Jeff (Jennifer) Lehman, of California; a niece, Jennifer Lehman, of Wapakoneta; a great-niece and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Mary Helen Renner.
Rogene was the sexton for Plumwood Cemetery for many years, and was employed as a farmer before that. He had also been employed by the former Madison Elms Nursing Home in London. He was a member of the Plumwood United Methodist Church.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Plumwood United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carolyn Peacock officiating. Interment will follow in Plumwood Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory in London.
