Debra “Deb” Boday, 53, died at 1:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 11, 1958, the daughter of Ann (Dulebohn) and Dale Miller. Her father and stepmother, Beth, survive in Wapakoneta, and she was preceded in death by her mother. On Sept. 16, 1978, in Lima, she married James “Jim” Boday, and he survives in Waynesfield.
Other survivors include two sons, Jeremy (Mindy) Boday and Christopher (Lisa Roberts) Boday, both of Waynesfield; a brother, Kevin (Jolynda) Myers, of Wapakoneta; three sisters, Lisa (Tom) Good, of Waynesfield, Kari (Josh) Houser, of Wapakoneta, and Kim (Jim) Loesther, of Cridersville; a mother-in-law, Pat Boday, of Lima; a brother-in-law, Mark (Kathy) Boday, of Kenton; and three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Ethan and Aisleen.
Deb was very active in all Waynesfield-Goshen youth sports, a 4-H adviser for Waynesfield All Around Livestock, a Waynesfield-Goshen Athletic Booster, co-chair for Relay for Life and the Zach Tate Benefit, and New Hampshire Baseball Association.
She was a member of the Waynesfield Baptist Church and a 1976 graduate of Waynesfield-Goshen High School.
Deb had worked at Kmart, Wapakoneta Daily News, Waynesfield Raceway, K&T Groceries, D&J Quality Machining and Plastipak. For the last 26 years she has driven a school bus for the Waynesfield-Goshen Schools.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Waynesfield-Goshen High School, with the Rev. Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Armentrout Funeral Home in Waynesfield and one hour prior to the services at the school.
Memorials may be given to the Waynesfield-Goshen Choir for the New York City trip.
