Nancy L. Kohlrieser, 64, of Wapakoneta, died at 2:42 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System, surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 10, 1946, in Lima, the daughter of Roberta Jean (Moyer) and Leo Dean Copeland, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 30, 1967, she married Thomas J. “Tom” Kohlrieser, and he survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Melissa M. (Marty) Manger, of Wapakoneta, Jennifer L. (Granville) Lee, of Syracuse, N.Y., and Rebecca J. (Todd) Cooper, of Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren, Lukas, Trentin, Katie, Brennin, Josiah, Addisyn and Lydia; her brother, Steven Copeland, of Columbus, and her mother-in-law, Farrell Kohlrieser, of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Copeland; a sister, Melody Chiles; and her father-in-law, Ralph Kohlrieser.
Nancy retired in 2001 as a registered nurse with Lima Memorial Hospital after 34 years service. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg. A 1964 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School, she was also a graduate of the Lima Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Nancy’s life revolved around her family, most especially her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, at the St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg, with the Rev. Oscar Seger officiating. Burial is to follow in the St. John Cemetery, Fryburg.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, and 9 to 9:45 a.m., Thursday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, State Route 501, Wapakoneta.
