That’s more like it.
After scoring just 11 run in its previous three games combined, Wapakoneta’s ACME baseball team snapped out of its offensive slump with an 11-run first inning and cruised to a 13-1 five-inning run rule win over Kenton on Wednesday at Wapakoneta High School.
The win lifted Wapak to 8-0 on the season.
Brandon Miller picked up the win on the mound.
Six different players collected hits for Wapak, with three players tallying multiple hits.
Chandler Kaeck led the way, going 3 for 3 with two RBIs and a run scored.
Second baseman Alex Koch was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, three runs scored and an RBI.
Third baseman Marshall Gerlach went 2 for 2 with a double, a run scored and an RBI.

After pitching one inning in relief to earn the save in a 4-3 win over Kenton on Tuesday night, Miller started and pitched a complete-game three-hitter on Wednesday.

Wapak will face New Knoxville, a team it beat 21-1 just nine days ago, tonight at 6:30 at New Knoxville.
