Councilors were made aware of committee appointments for 2013. West said Mayor Lorali Myers forwarded a copy of the new appointments, as she was absent for the special meeting due to illness. She plans to be back for the February council meeting on Feb. 11.
“There are really no changes from 2012, except Tony Zuppardo is on the Safety Committee and Shirley Anderson is on the Properties Committee,” West said.
On the Streets and Sidewalks Committee is Rick Walls, Anderson and West, on the Utilities and Surface Water Committee is Paul Lynch, Stacey Cook and Anderson, on the the Parks and Recreation Committee is Anderson, West and Lynch, on the Finance Committee is West, Cook and Zuppardo, on the Properties and Equipment Committee is Cook, Anderson and Lynch, on the Planning Committee is Zuppardo, West and Walls and on the Safety Committee is Mayor Lorali Myers, Rick Walls, Tony Zuppardo, Police Chief John Drake and Fire Chief Rick Miller.
After committees were discussed by West, Zuppardo took over the meeting as president, and announced the need to go into executive session to discuss the topic of village solicitor with no action to be taken.
