Wrong-way crash

A wrong-way crash occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at mile marker 110 on I-75 in Wapakoneta.
Donald Andrews, 88, of Wapakoneta, was driving southbound in a northbound lane, which caused a collision with Thomas Iverson, 76, who was driving a northbound vehicle.
Iverson went into the median, and no injuries were reported from him or passengers, who were wearing their seat belts.
Andrews was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital for a hand laceration.
Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Tim Wenger said a citation will be issued to Andrews for wrong-way driving and driving without a seatbelt.
