Yesterday evening and today have brought the area yet another winter storm. With snow accumulating several inches so far, there is a lot of cleanup to be done.

Whether you prefer a snowblower, shovel or a form of ice melter, surely someone in your household will be out clearing off sidewalks and driveways.

True Value Store Manager Mike Meiring said when preparing for weather like this it is important to make sure your snowblower is in good condition.

“As far as prepping your snowblowers, obviously make sure the belts are in good condition, not cracked,” he said. “Snowblower engine wise make sure you have fuel stabilizer, that helps with the gas and makes sure it doesn’t get moisture into the carburetor, makes it easier to start.”
