William Wisener, 56

William “Bill” Wisener, 56, 904 Tecumseh Drive, St. Marys, died suddenly at 11:57 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, after suffering an apparent heart attack.
He was born June 4, 1956, in Lima, the son of Mary (Edmiston) and Mark Wisener. On May 19, 1984, he married Marty Fry, and she survives at the residence.
Also surviving are his mother, Mary Wisener Pruitt, of Wapakoneta; a son, Brian (Amanda Frey) Wisener, of St. Marys; two daughters, Emily (Joe) Chilcoat, of Beavercreek, and Nichole “Nikki” Wisener, of St. Marys; three sisters, Wanda Edmiston, of Wapakoneta, Deb Shaner, of Russells Point, and Tilly Tirado of Tampa, Fla.; three brothers, Mark Wisener Jr., of Wapakoneta, John Wisener, of the Dominican Republic; and Gary Pruitt, of Tampa, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Wisener Sr.; and two brothers, Terry Edmiston and Kent Wisener.
Bill was a 1974 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. He was an HVAC technician, employed at Quality Plumbing and Heating in St. Marys. He was a member of First English Church in Wapakoneta. He loved going hunting with his son, fishing, making and flying remote control airplanes and going camping with his family; he was very proud of his annual Christmas light display at his home, and he put many hours into the process each year.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, with the Revs. Jim Swaggart and Brian Wisener officiating.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be given to Operation Christmas Child.
