William Webb, 69

William L. “Bill” Webb, 69, of Wapakoneta, died at 2:35 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
He was born Dec. 10, 1942, in Buckland, the son of Florence (Friediger) and Pearl Webb, who preceded him in death. In 1970, he married Nancy Kinstle, and she died in 2000.
Surviving are a daughter, Cathy (Elroy) James, of Chillicothe; a son, Michael Webb; three grandchildren, Johnnie Nash, of Chillicothe, Heaven James, of Chillicothe, and Jordan James, of Chillicothe; two brothers, Charles Webb, of Wapakoneta, and Jim (Shirley) Webb, of Cridersville; and three sisters, Edna (Glen) Steed, of Criderville, Mary (Jack) Selover, of California, and Sharon (Dave) Erb, of Arlington.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Webb, and a grandson, Dylan Nash.
A truck driver, Bill worked for Dan Roediger Trucking in Wapakoneta. He was a member of the Ohio National Guard, Fraternal Order Eagles, Aerie 691, and the Am Vets Post 333, both of Wapakoneta. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to tractor shows, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Services are at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Dan Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, in Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
