William Carey, 78

William R. Carey, 78, of Lima, died at 8:08 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2011, at Triumph Hospital in Lima.
He was born June 3, 1933, in Champaign County, Ill., the son of Mary E. ((Marsh) and Lowell C. Carey. On Nov. 6, 1970, he married Helen L. Springer Erb Carey, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Russell W. Carey, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two daughters, Starlet D. Bowles, of Delphos, and Theresa Carey, of Phoenix, Ariz.
Graveside services are at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Lima, with the Rev. Ray Hadley officiating. Condolences may be shared at bayliffandson.com
