There’s a new face at the Wapakoneta Area Economic Development Council.

Jessica Braun, a Wapakoneta native, took over as assistant director March 17.

Braun attended The Ohio State University after high school and spent one and a half years after graduation woking on an AmeriCorps project.

AmeriCorps is an organization whose members conduct intensive service each year at nonprofits, schools, public agencies, and community and faith-based groups across the country.

Braun then spent two years in Columbus working in customer service and fraud prevention.
Since she’s been back, Braun has notice a lot of new things.
