W-G tops Ridgemont in conference play

The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers topped the Ridgemont Golden Gophers, 183-203, in a Northwest Central Conference varsity boys golf match Thursday at Veterans Memorial Park Golf Club in Kenton.

Trey Crumrine and Lake Turner each posted 44 on Thursday to lead W-G.

Gabe Wilcox (47) and Brandon Turner (48) finished the Tigers’ scoring. Caden Spencer (57) and Drew Lament (60) also played for W-G.

Devin Mouser was Thursday’s match medalist with a 37. Cole Weyant had a 49, James Randall scored a 56 and Wyatt James notched a 61 to finish Ridgemont’s scoring four totals.

W-G will have a long break before its next event, when the Tigers will have their first of two NWCC tri-matches on Aug. 27 at Lost Creek Golf Club in Lima.
