The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers climbed over the .500 mark in conference play Thursday with a 3-0 sweep of the winless Perry Commodores in Northwest Central Conference varsity volleyball play in Lima.
The Tigers won Thursday by scores of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-18.
With the win, W-G moved to 2-8 overall and to 2-1 in NWCC matches.
“We played well tonight and played like a team,” W-G varsity coach Caitlin Klima said Thursday.
For the Tigers, statistically, Linda-Carol Spencer and Chelsea Spencer each tallied four service points and four digs.
Sydney Buffenbarger had seven assists, while Emily Patton totaled three blocks.
W-G will next play Saturday in a non-league match against the Fairlawn Jets in Sidney.
