W-G coach resigns post

January 21, 2014

Patton

Ted Patton has resigned as head varsity girls basketball coach at Waynesfield-Goshen High School.

In a special meeting Monday morning, the school district’s board of education approved Patton’s resignation, which was effective as of Friday.

“The only thing I can really say is that there were some internal issues with the program,” said J. Chris Pfister, superintendent of Waynesfield-Goshen Local Schools. “Coach Patton submitted his resignation. He clearly had a very strong program, he was a very intense coach, had a winning record and we wish him well.”
