A plan to help make assessments for curbs, gutters and sidewalks more equitable is being readied, a Wapakoneta City Council member says.
Wapakoneta 1st Ward Councilor Jim Neumeier told fellow councilors during Monday’s meeting he has a plan he intends to introduce at a later date. He would not disclose the plan until having further discussions with advisers.
“I just think we have to come up with a better way to fund curbs, gutters and sidewalks than the way we do it now,” Neumeier said after the meeting. “It just seems so unfair the way it is done right now.”
