Richard “Dick” O. Chittum, 66, 906 Hawthorne Drive, St. Marys, died at 7:10 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2007 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born April 4, 1940, in Dayton, the son of Ruth (Frey) and James Chittum, who are deceased.
On Aug. 27, 1966, he married Barbara L. McVey, who survives.
Mr. Chittum is also survived by a son, Roger (Stephanie) Chittum of Hebron.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 511 E. Spring St., St. Marys, with the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher officiating.
Burial will follow at the Gethsemane Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, Ohio 703, St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Friends of the Holy Rosary.
