An overnight dusting of snow made city roadways slick as a motorist of this van discovered during the morning commute today. The motorist said his van started to slide while he was driving east on West Pearl Street as he approached the intersection with Ohio Street. When he tried to regain control by giving the van a little gasoline, he went over the curb and hit the foundation of the house at 411 West Pearl Street.
