Staff Reports With nearly a full week to think about a lopsided loss to the Ada Bulldogs, the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers boys varsity basketball team came ready to play Friday night. In a total reversal of last Saturday’s misfortune, the Tigers went to Marion Catholic and won by double-digits, 58-45. The win lifted W-G’s overall record this season to 3-9. Beating Marion Catholic also meant the team’s second Northwest Central Conference victory of the season, putting it at 2-2. The .500 league record is currently good enough for sole possession of fourth place. Conversely, Marion Catholic dropped to 4-7 (0-3 NWCC). The Tigers were led at both ends by Taylor Miller’s 21 points and 17 rebounds.
