Wapakoneta Police officers made several arrests of motorists for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol (OVI) during the weekend.
Stephanie Kohler, 29, 11322 Van Buren St., Wapakoneta, was stopped for a lanes of travel violation at 1:45 a.m. Sunday at East Main and Willipie streets.
She was then arrested for OVI and taken to the Auglaize County Jail, Wapakoneta Police Chief Russ Hunlock said.
The report was not complete.
Eric Carolus, 43, 304 Senaca St., Cridersville, was stopped at 2:15 a.m. Saturday at East Redskin Trail and North Water Street for speeding.
He was subsequently cited for OVI and taken to the Auglaize County Jail.
The breathalyzer was not working so no blood alcohol content levels were available.
A report was not complete but officers at 1:10 a.m. Sunday stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of North Wentz Street for a traffic violation.
Hunlock said alcohol was found in the vehicle and a 16-year-old Wapakoneta male was involved.
Jeffrey Krites, 21, of Maplewood, was stopped for a speeding violation and then arrested for OVI at 3 a.m. Sunday at 1101 Bellefontaine St.
He was released to a female’s custody.

• A 24-year-old son called for assistance at 8 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of South Pine Street after his father threatened to “slice his throat with a knife.”
According to the report:
The threat was made while the 42-year-old father and son were fighting.
The son did not want to file charges.
He left the residence.
• Officers were called to the 800 block of Gardenia Drive at 10:15 p.m. Sunday for a 36-year-old man, who was allegedly threatening to harm himself after fighting with his wife for two days.
According to the report:
The man said he did not mean to sound as if he was threatening himself, he was just upset about the argument with his wife.
• An employee of The Waffle House, 503 Apollo Dr., called at 3:10 p.m. Sunday to report nearly $50 missing from the drawer.
A full report was not available, but the theft remains under investigation.
• Heather Poynter, 405 S. Blackhoof St., reported at 11:10 p.m. Friday that her purse was stolen out of her van while it was parked at Wapakoneta Middle School, 202 Hamilton Road.
According to the report:
Several items were in the purse, including identification, an MP3 player, credit cards and cash.
The van may have been unlocked at the time the purse was taken.
• Chad Rickets turned in a wallet with several hundred dollars inside that he found at 803 Apollo Drive at 3:45 p.m. Saturday.
The wallet was believed to belong to Aaron Cramer.
• Julie Klause, 19668 Wapakoneta Cridersville Road, called at 4:15 p.m. Friday to report vandalism to her son’s moped while it was parked at Wapakoneta High School.
According to the report:
The 2001 red Tomos was parked at the bike rack and the right center panel that covers the gasoline tank was barely attached. It was valued at $60.
• Kasara King, 22, 706 Ellen St., called at 9:40 a.m. Sunday after having problems with David Comer, 37, of the same address, wanting him removed.
Both parties were separated.
• A mother called at 6:40 a.m. Monday to report problems with her unruly 15-year-old at 217 E. Benton St.
A report was not complete and no additional information available.
• Officers responded to Chase Bank, 801 Defiance St., at 5 p.m. Friday for a verbal argument between Lynn Taylor, 813 Gardenia St., and her 15-year-old son.
Nothing further came from the incident.
• A Wapakoneta woman was cited for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection at 5:30 p.m. Friday at East Auglaize and North Seltzer streets.
According to the incomplete report:
Margaret Fisher, 55, 807 W. Auglaize St., was cited in the collision with Kittikhoun Southibounnorath, 37, of Lima.
No one suffered any apparent injuring in the collision and no additional information was available.
• An anonymous call was received about underage drinking at 9:10 p.m. Friday at 500 North Wentz St.
No additional information was available as the report was not complete.
• Officers were called to 1 Perry St. at 11:55 p.m. Saturday for a drunk girl beating on the door of an apartment for an hour.
No additional information was available.
• Officers located a purse in the middle of the road in the 1200 block of Bellefontaine Street at 1:40 a.m. Sunday.
The purse belonged to Danielle Brotherwood, of Delphos, and efforts were made to return it to her.
