Twila A. Stevens, 79

Twila A. Stevens, 79, of Cridersville, died 9:35 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. Twila was formerly of Wapakoneta. She was born April 29, 1934 in Ada to Lloyd and Bessie Mull Candler. She married Richard E. “Dick” Stevens Jan. 12, 1951, and he preceded her in death June 18, 2010.
Mrs. Stevens had been a homemaker and enjoyed antiques, baking, gardening, garage sales, playing cards and camping. She was a former girl scout leader.
Survivors include a son,  Richard E. (Karen) Stevens, Jr., of Celina; two daughters, Cheryl A. Stevens and Teresa Lyn (Anthony) Allen, both of Wapakoneta; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Elwanda Casper, of Ada.
She was preceded in death by a son,  David A. Stevens; three brothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Sunday at Bayliff & Son, Cridersville.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m., Monday at the funeral home with Rev. D. Lynn Fox officiating and burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
