From staff reports

The Botkins Trojans have now posted nine wins in 10 matches after their 182-189 win Thursday over the Fort Loramie Redskins in a Shelby County Athletic League varsity boys golf match at Shelby Oaks Golf Course in Sidney.

Botkins is now 9-1 in match play this season.

Josh Miller’s 42 for the Trojans was good enough for match medalist.

Botkins also had scores of 45 from Roger Miller, 46 from Nick Okuley and 49 from Seth Hanna.

Fort Loramie was paced by Brad Goettemoeller’s 45.

Botkins has just one league loss, to Russia, with two SCAL matches remaining.

The Trojans will resume their season Saturday in the Joe Middleton Invitational, hosted by Tri-Village, at Beechwood Golf Course in Arcanum.
