Traffic issue raises local concern

October 8, 2013

A local businesswoman requested Monday that a three-way stop be installed or a traffic signal be replaced at the intersection of East Auglaize and Wood streets.

Auglaize Embroidery owner Judy Dubois testified to Wapakoneta City Council members during Monday’s council meeting that the removal of even a two-way stop sign installed during construction has created a hazardous situation at the intersection of East Auglaize Street and Wood Street, which also serves as Ohio 67.

For more on a local businesswoman's concerns about traffic near the intersection of Wood and East Auglaize streets, see Tuesday's edition of the Wapakoneta Daily News.
