Tips from a pro: the right cleaner for the right job
As spring arrives and the weather starts to turn, homeowners across the country are beginning the process of spring cleaning.
The thorough cleaning of one's entire home that is typically associated with spring cleaning can be a little daunting.
Lynn Ridenour, owner of the Waynesfield-based cleaning service Hit the Dirt LLC, recommends doing some thorough cleaning of every room in the house throughout the entire year in order to lessen the burden come springtime.
"Pick a specific area of the home and work really hard on it, and then in a couple weeks or so, pick another area and work hard on that," Ridenour said. "Eventually, you'll be coming back around and starting over. That way, you can avoid having to do that deep cleaning in the spring."
Ridenour said her philosophy for cleaning is to "work smarter, not harder," meaning that choosing the right cleaning products will lessen the difficulty of the cleaning process.
