Tigers run at Ottawa-Glandorf Invitational

The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers ran in Ottawa on Saturday at the Blue/Gold Invitational hosted by Ottawa-Glandorf.

W-G took 18th place out of 21 teams in the boys Gold division, comprised of small schools.

In 78th place overall, Stephen Hayes led W-G with a time of 19 minutes, 43.7 seconds.

Levi Miller (88th; 19:52.2) and Matt Motter (92nd; 19:58) were closely behind for the Tigers.

Jordan McKinney (102nd; 20:11.6) and Alyn Begley (108th; 20:20.3) finished W-G’s scoring five.

Jeron Hennon (112th; 20:25.7), Zane Wicker (142nd; 21:13.4) and Connor Whitaker (143rd; 21:13.8) also ran for the Tigers.

Other runners for W-G included Spencer Case (163rd; 22:18), Layne Spencer (171st; 22:47.2), Ryan Hershberger (176th; 23:13.8) and Ben Little (187th; 24:42.9)

Girls last in 14th place

The W-G girls were 14th out of 14 teams in the girls Gold race.

Mackenzie Braden was the Tigers’ first finisher in 56th place with a time of 23:08.0.

Jonnell Case was second for W-G at 23:52.4.

Jadelyn Hennon (110th; 26:23.7), Jenna Crawford (132nd; 27:33.0) and Paige Crawford (149th; 30:46.1) completed the Tigers’ scoring.
