Tigers record 1st win with victory over Ridgemont

August 30, 2013

From staff reports

The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers recorded their first win Thursday in a three-game sweep of the Ridgemont Golden Gophers in a Northwest Central Conference varsity volleyball match.

The win was W-G’s first under new varsity coach Caitlin Klima and put the team’s season record at 1-3 overall, 1-0 in the NWCC.

“It’s exciting,” Klima said about the team’s first win. “The girls definitely deserved that.”

W-G will next play Saturday in a tri-match at Ada with Cory-Rawson.
