Thelma Brown, 94

Thelma P. Brown, 94, of Cridersville, passed away Friday morning, Oct. 26, 2012, at Otterbein-Cridersville.
Thelma was born July 1, 1914, in Uniopolis, the daughter of the late the late Myrtice Conner and William Miller. On Oct. 24, 1942, in Lima, she married Arden L. Brown, and he survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Lenora Sybert, of Centerville; several nieces; and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Miller; and two sisters, Rita Creps, and Ida McClure.
Thelma was a 1933 graduate of Auglaize Rural High School in Harrod. She was a member of Grace Chapel Christian Union Church in Santa Fe. She was also a member of Farm Bureau, Grange and the Garden Club. She was a hard worker who enjoyed her work on the farm, and driving tractor. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Chapel Christian Union Church in Santa Fe, with the Rev. Scott Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Shoffstall Funeral Home in Lakeview and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
