Taylor E. Dicke, 11

Taylor E. Dicke, of New Bremen, died on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 9:12 p.m. at her residence. She was born on Aug. 25, 2002 in St. Marys. She was the daughter of Joseph Dicke and Nicole (Mohler) Dicke, both of New Bremen. Survivors include her sisters Abigayle and Olivia both at home; her grandparents, Roland and Cindy Dicke, of New Bremen, and Mike and Brenda Mohler, of Wapakoneta; her great-grandparents, Eileen Yaney, of Celina, Virginia and David Poe, of Pioneer, Carolyn Pape, of New Bremen and Ona Mohler of Muncie, Mich. Also surviving is a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding her in death was her great-grandparents, John Yaney, Ray Mohler, David Pape and Wilton and Helen Dicke.
Taylor was a baptized member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, and she had attended the ABC Center in New Bremen. She was a happy girl with bright eyes, and was well known for her big smiles. She was very brave and overcame many challenges that she was faced with. She also helped to teach those around her valuable life lessons.
Funeral services will be on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen with Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial will follow at the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Calling hours will be on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 from 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
