And they didn’t disappoint.
Wapak finished second overall in the competition to perennial power Westside Wave.
By individual age group, the 8-under boys placed fourth and the 9-10 boys took second. The girls were seventh in the 8-under and fourth in 9-10.

On Friday, Metzger, 8, took third in the 25-meter freestyle, fifth in the 25 butterfly and swam on the third-place 100 medley relay team. Then on Saturday he placed second in the 25 backstroke and fourth in the 50 freestyle.
Danielle Slechter, 10, garnered four medals. She was second in the 50 butterfly and swam on the third-place 200 medley relay team on Friday, then took third in both the 50 backstroke and 100 freestyle on Saturday.
