SWIMMING: 'Skins finish 7th at Holiday meet

LIMA — The Wapakoneta Redskins varsity boys and girls swimming teams both finished seventh in the Holiday Invitational on Thursday at the Lima Family YMCA.

The Shawnee Indians won both groups.

In all, 18 boys teams and 17 girls teams competed in the annual event.

For the Redskins boys team, Ryan Kremer grabbed third in the 200-yard individual medley and fourth in the 100 freestyle.

Nate Hager took third in the 200 freestyle. He also placed sixth in the 50 freestyle.

Ryan Greve was fifth in the 100 breaststroke.

For the girls, Josie Miller had a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle and was fourth in the 100 freestyle.

Taylor Law took third in the 100 butterfly and fifth in the 200 freestyle.

Stephanie Kessen was eighth in the 200 IM.

Morgan Roediger joined Miller, Law and Kessen to place sixth in the 200 freestyle relay.
