An annual talent show and final performance of this year’s show by Singsation is being planned for Friday, May 3.
Cabaret features talent acts by freshman through senior show choir members, with acts to be determined next week, and concludes with Singsation members performing this year’s final performance of their show, “Through the Looking Glass.”
A dinner catered by Perfect Party Planning, of St. Marys, is to be served before the show beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Cost for dinner and the show per person is $20. Tickets for the show only are $5.
Wapakoneta Performing Arts Center (PAC) doors open prior to the show at 7:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7:45 p.m.
“We treat it as our senior night,” said Nanette Claybaugh, who is serving as chair of the Cabaret committee.
She said seniors are recognized at the end of Singsation’s performance with a slide show.
Silent auctions and raffles are planned for after dinner, with winners announced during the show.
All proceeds made go back into the Wapakoneta Choral Music Society fund, which supports all the district’s choirs from sixth-grade through senior.
“Anybody who would love to watch Wapakoneta Singsation perform without having to travel to other schools, this is the best opportunity,” Claybaugh said.
April 25 is the deadline to order tickets, which may be reserved by calling 419-738-5417. Tickets also are to be available at the door before the show.
