Sally L. Moellenkamp, 75

Sally L. Moellenkamp 75, departed this earth to be with her Lord on Dec. 5, 2013, following an extended illness. She was born April 18, 1938, to Carl C. and Pauline G. (Lanning) Brading, of Wapakoneta, who preceded her in death. On January 23, 1960, she married Roger D. Moellenkamp, of Wapakoneta, who survives.
She had two daughters, Linda (Craig) Brown, of Wapakoneta, and Amy (Michael) Robbins, of Charlotte, N.C. She is also survived by sisters Nancy (Robert) VanSkiver, Becky (Richard) Kohlreiser and Judy (Wayne) Kentner, all of Wapakoneta, and Shirley Richardson, of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Also preceding her in death were Mother and Father-in-law Milford and Louise Moellenkamp, a brother-in-law Harold (Lois) Moellenkamp survives in Wapakoneta.
She had four grandchildren who brought her much joy and love.They are Saira and Emilie Brown and Michael and Sally Robbins. She was there greatest fan and supported everything they did. Sally was the best grandma ever. She is also survived by many beloved nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces and numerous cousins.
Sally was a lifelong member of the First English Lutheran Church in Wapakoneta where she was baptized, confirmed and married and where her funeral services will be held. She was very secure in her faith and love of God. She graduated from Blume Sr. High School the Class of 1956.
During her life she worked as a bookkeeper, secretary and childcare provider. Her most important job though was taking care of her children and she was a wonderful mother and wife. Sally was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes marching band and of all music in general.
She was a majorette in the Wapakoneta High School Band and would still enjoy mentioning with a smile she was the sixth grade jacks champion of Williamson school. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile and was always kind and caring. She loved going to the beach on vacations with her family and Christmas time.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta, Pastor Robert Blohm officiating. Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the Long & Folk Chapel, 13 S. Blackhoof St., Wapakoneta, and 1 hr. prior to the service, Monday at the church.
