Ruth Zwiebel, 80

Ruth M. Zwiebel, 80, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
She was born Feb. 17, 1933, in Shelby County, the daughter of Hulda (Manzelman) and Dillon Hollenbacher, who preceded her in death. On May 9, 1954, she married Paul E. Zwiebel, and he survives.
Also surviving are three children, Rudy (Rose) Zwiebel, of Greenfield, Wis., Scott Zwiebel, of Cape Canaveral, Fla., and Kelly (Andrew) Adams, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four grandchildren, Rachel, Leah, McKinley, and Merrick; a brother, Ernie (Nancy) Hollenbacher, of Wapakoneta; and three sisters, Marilyn (Bob) Eisert, of Wapakoneta, Ruby (Ned) Berlet, of Wapakoneta, and Rita (Don) McCullough, of New Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Hollenbacher.
A homemaker, Ruth volunteered at God’s Storehouse in Wapakoneta. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, and a graduate of Blume High School, both of Wapakoneta. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Mark Bauer officiating. Burial is to follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
