Rollover on County Road 33A

Members of the Wapakoneta Fire Department administer first aid to a female driver of a vehicle that rolled over on the County Road 33A overpass of U.S. 33.

A two-car collision resulted in one person being transported by Wapakoneta EMS to an area hospital at approximately 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Law enforcement personnel at the scene said not much information was available until completion of an investigation at the scene of the accident.
From information gathered at the scene it appears a white van was heading east on County Road 33A, and another vehicle lost control while heading west and struck the van. The tan vehicle rolled onto its top and came to a rest on the highway.
The van sustaied structural damage to the to the driver's side, while the other vehicle sustained damage and was non-functional.
The female driver of the rolled vehicle communicated with law enforcement personnel while being treated for injuries on the road before being loaded into the rescue vehicle for transport.
Troopers with the Wapakoneta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Wapakoneta and Buckland fire departments, the Wapakoneta Police Department and the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office all responded to the scene.
