Roger Strauser, 86

Roger “Dean” Strauser, 86, of Otterbein-Cridersville, formerly of Waynesfield, died at 7:56 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
He was born Nov. 28, 1926, in Wayne Township, Auglaize County, to Leah (Cook) and Reed Strawser. On June 1, 1948, in Spencerville, he married Grace Keeling, and she survives at Otterbein-Cridersville.
Also surviving are three sons, James (Jim) Strauser, of Raceland, Ky., Steve Strauser, of Lakeview, and Rick Strauser, of Wapakoneta; and six daughters, Pam Martin, of Wapakoneta, Lindsay Cook, of Lima, Joyce Pence, of Lakeview, Judy Wright, of Covington, Emma Reinhart, of Limerick, Pa., and Cindy Lane, of Bellefontaine.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Armentrout Funeral Home in Waynesfield, with the Rev. Lynn Huffman officiating. Burial will follow at Auglaize Cemetery in Harrod, with full military rites by V.F.W. Post 8445 in Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
