Rodney Adair, 47, of Wapakoneta, died 10:35 a.m., on his birthday, Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at Auglaize Acres. He was born Jan. 20, 1967, in Lima, the son of Gaylene Joyce Adair Harruff, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include: A brother, Robert “Bobby” (Ula Jean) Harruff, Wapakoneta; two sisters, Robyn Baker, Cridersville, Rhonda Harruff, Wapakoneta; a niece, Brittany (Jonathon) Swiney, Mt. Airy, NC; a nephew, Matthew (Ashley) Harruff, Wapakoneta; five great nieces & great nephews, Jaydon, Jazimyne, Jennah, Izabella and Dominic. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald E. Harruff.

Rod had worked at Panasonic, Troy, OH; Gilardi’s Pizza, Sidney, OH; and the Auglaize County Health Deptartment.  His hobbies included calligraphy, cross stitch, crocheting, cooking and baking.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta, Pastor Mark Bauer officiating.  Burial is to follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
