Robert C. â€śBobâ€ť Krites, 80, of Cridersville, died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
He was born July 29, 1932, in Logan Township, Auglaize County, to Cecelia (Taylor) and Virgil Talmadge Krites. Both parents are deceased. On March 11, 1951, he married Virginia Marie â€śGinnyâ€ť Stevenson, who died April 7, 2012.
Surviving are two sons, David (Connie) Krites, of Wapakoneta, and Dennis â€śWillieâ€ť Krites, of Cridersville; two daughters, Julia (Kurt) Zwiebel, of St. Marys, and Janelle Krites, of Buckland; eight grandchildren, Brad (Cheri) Krites, Scott Krites, Aubrea Krites, Angie (Rick) Gable, Lisa (Doug) Williams, Jesse Kohlrieser, Joshua (Jeni) Kohlrieser and Eric Augustus; 10 great-grandchildren, Evan Krites, Holly Krites, Kelly Krites, Malayna Krites, Graysen Krites, Isabella Krites, Kylie Williams, Brayden Kohlrieser, Bryce Kohlrieser and Brody Williams; a brother, Harold (Margaret) Krites, of Wapakoneta; a sister, Betty Fenneman, of Spencerville; and his four-legged friend, â€śJakeâ€ť.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Krites and Glenn Krites; and a sister, Mary Howell.
Mr. Krites was a life-long farmer. He graduated from Buckland High School in 1950, was a salesman for Pioneer Seed Company, had been chairman of the Auglaize County ASCS and had worked for National Lime and Stone Company and Dingledine Construction Company. He was a Logan Township trustee for 32 years.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be held at Fort Amanda Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville.
