Robert J. Bayham, 95, 04370 Poppe Road, St. Marys, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at his residence.
He was born March 14, 1916, in Dayton, the son of Flora (Hobler) and Frank Bayham. On Jan. 5, 1946, he married Cecilia M. Bochenek and she died Oct. 3, 2008.
Surviving are six sons, Edward (Beverly) Bayham, of St. Louis, Dennis Bayham, of Dayton, Andrew (Amee) Bayham, of Louisville, Paul (Annette) Bayham, of St. Marys, Ray (Helen) Bayham, of Ypsilanti, Mich., Robert (Tammy) Bayham, of St. Marys; and seven daughters, Cynthia (William) Newlin, of Dayton, Sandra (William) Evanoff, of Indianapolis, Marilyn (William) Stewart, of Fairborn, Cecilia Pechler, of Huber Heights, Loretta (Suhbash) Verma, of Mason, Margie (Doug) Whitling, of St. Marys, and Teresa Young, of Parkton, Md.
He was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Bayham.
Services are at 9 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
Friends may call from 3 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Donations can be given to the Holy Rosary School Library.
